Lahore: Punjab Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan who is visiting United Kingdom along with Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif now a days has called on Prof. David Sadler and MS Luise Sutherland of Queen Mary University in London.
Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan apprised the administrative professors of Queen Mary University about the reforms introduced in Punjab Province especially about the ongoing project of Lahore Knowledge Park. Prof. David Sadler showed keen interest in Lahore Knowledge Park Project and said that Queen Mary University is ready to offer all possible help and assistance regarding establishment of Lahore Knowledge Park.
Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan told on this occasion that Lahore Knowledge Park is being established in accordance with the models of Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Mexico. He told that all activities of Lahore Knowledge Park would be based on research. He further told that Lahore Knowledge Park would be consisting four zones including growth zone, science and innovation zone, education zone and knowledge based zone.
He said that national and international level universities would be established at education zone where information and communication, creative industry, business schools and applied sciences would be given major importance.
The academicians of Queen Mary University London ensured the Punjab Minister for Education to render all sort of cooperation and assistance in connection with the ongoing educational projects in Punjab.
