Lahore: Minister for Information,Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid said on Tuesday that Imran Khan had made a home in Bani Gala while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had made its home in the hearts of the people of Islamabad including Bani Gala.
Speaking on the occasion of 7th anniversary of the launch of a private television channel here, he said that even in Bani Gala, candidate of the party which held a 126 day sit-in in front of Parliament House was defeated by the PML-N candidate.
About the Prime Minister’s meeting with his Indian counterpart in Paris, he said that it was a good step taken by Narendra Modi. If India and Pakistan did not restart negotiations now, it would not be good for the regional peace, he added.
He said Pakistan believed in dialogue and desired to hold talks with India for the resolution of all disputes peacefully. It was India that suspended the talks process and not by Pakistan.
About today’s Karachi terror attack, he said that two brave sons of the soil sacrificed their lives to make Pakistan more peaceful.
He said that by the sacrifices of the personnel of Pakistani law enforcement agencies, the world had become safer. He congratulated the management, media persons and the staff of the private TV channel on its seventh anniversary.
