50th International Human Rights Day would be celebrated on December 10

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that the department has finalized strategy for arranging different programmes in connection with 50^thInternational Human Rights Day on December 10.

Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that United Nations started observing International Human Rights Day 50 years ago for ensuring cultural, economic, political and social rights to all citizens. He said that the department would initiate a campaign on December 10 under which different programmes will be arranged throughout the year for promoting awareness among the citizens about their rights.
