PTI challenges Ayaz Sadiq victory in the bye-election of NA-122

Lahore: Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf has filed a petition to challenge Ayaz Sadiq victory in the bye-election of NA-122 and prayed that ECP to null & void the result for transferring of more than 22 thousands of votes.The petition contained 800 pages in which  it was claimed that 30500 votes were transferred,added and cancelled from general elections of 2013 to bye elections of October 2015 where as 7 thousands votes of the youth who reached the age of 18 years were added.

The legal team of the PTI claimed that transfer of more than 22 thousands votes record was not provided by the election commission with the saying that this act was done by NADRA.

Moreover some house were also identified for registering 30 to 50 votes.

Aleem Khan has said that his petition was based on the facts and soon Speaker Ayaz Sadiq will have to go home again.
