Liaqat Baloch takes oath of the newly elected Ameer of the JI Lahore

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the corrupt and incompetent rulers had put the country’s independence, sovereignty and survival at stake but the JI would fight the war of its ideology at  every front.

He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Ameer of the JI Lahore. Zikrullah Mujahid took his oath as the new JI district chief.  JI deputy chief Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and JI provincial chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed were also present.

Liaqat Baloch said that the rulers had thrown their election manifesto at the back and had gifted the masses with poverty and depravation instead of prosperity they had promised.

He said that conspiracies were being hatched to divide the country on ethnic, racial and sectarian basis. As such, a patriotic and competent leadership was required to safeguard national integrity and solidarity.
