Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Friday said those responsible for Paris tragedy are enemies of Islam and humanity.
Talking to French ambassador Martine Dorance, the Prime Minister said terrorists must be eliminated from across the world, including Pakistan and France.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistani nation being the victim of terrorism itself could feel the pain of French people.
He said the government took the decision to take terrorists to task after long deliberations, consultations and support by all state institutions including parliament.
He said the whole nation backed the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and the National Action Plan aimed at eradication of terrorists from Pakistani soil.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited French Embassy at Islamabad today and expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief with French Ambassador Mrs. Martine Dorance over the loss of precious human lives in Paris attacks.
The Chief Minister strongly condemned Paris attacks and said that people of the country including Punjab are standing with people of France in this hour of distress. He said that the attack on innocent people is highly condemnable.
Shahbaz Sharif said that he is deeply grieved over this tragic incident of terrorism. He said that the terrorists playing with the lives of innocent people are not human but are beasts. He said that innocent people were targeted in terrorism in Paris attacks and our sympathies are with the heirs of bereaved families. He said that civilized societies are deeply shocked over these incidents of terrorism. He said that terrorists are enemies of the entire humanity.
The Chief Minister said that terrorism is an international challenge which does not relate to any particular region. He said that all capabilities and energies will have to be utilized for eliminating the menace of terrorism all over the world. He said that Paris attacks are also highly condemnable.
Shahbaz Sharif wrote his expressions in condolence book placed at French Embassy. He also prayed for early recovery of the persons injured in Paris attacks.
