Lahore: The coaching and refereeing camp of Pakistan Modern Pentathlon Federation (PMPF) got underway in Lahore under the banner of Sports Board Punjab (SBP).
The camp will remain continue till November 20, 2015. Over 40 male and female players from Wapda, Railway, Police, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan are taking part in the coaching camp being supervised by international coach Bernard Moss.
Zahoor Ahmed, secretary of Pakistan Modern Pentathlon Federation, while talking to journalists said that modern pentathlon is getting rapid growth among young generation of the country. “We are imparting latest training to our players through international coaches which will be very beneficial for pentathlon in our country,” he added.
He said that the young talented players, after thorough training, will be sent abroad for international pentathlon competitions.
