LGS, Kinnaird College bag Table Tennis Championship

Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Model Town won the Inter-School Girls Table Tennis Championship beating LACAS Johar Town in the final by 3-0 here on Wednesday.

The grand Inter-School, College Games are being organized by Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab (SBP).LGS, Kinnaird College bag Table Tennis Championship

According to details, the Trust School Thokar Niaz Baig and the City School secured 3rd and fourth positions in the event respectively.

The City School Gurumangat clinched the Inter-School Boys Table Tennis Championship beating Lahore Learning School in the finals 3-1. DPS Model Town and The Trust School Thokar Niaz Baig finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the event.

In the Inter-College Girls event, Kinnaird College for Women won the table tennis title beating Lahore College for Women in a very hard fought final by a narrow margin of 3-2. Islamia College Cantt and The City School secured third and fourth position respectively in the event.

Punjab Group of Colleges Lahore bagged the Inter-College Boys Table Tennis Championship beating Lahore Learning School in the one-sided final by 3-0. Lahore Grammar School Paragon School and Lahore Learning School got third and fourth positions respectively in the event. After the finals Waqas Akbar Assistant Director Sports Board Punjab gave away the prizes to the winners.

In Inter-School, College Baseball final, Beaconhouse School Bahria Town emerged winners against The Educators Elite Campus Johor Town at University of Central Punjab (UCP) Sports Complex. Shaukat Javed, Chairman Pakistan Federation Baseball distributed prizes.

In the Inter-School Ju-Jitsu Championship, Umar Mukhtar of Premium School won the title in 60kg category. The title 55kg Fighting Style category was won by Saadullah of The City School.

Nadir Ali of Iqra Lyceum School captured the title of 50kg class while Faisal of same school seized the title of 45kg (Fighting) category.
