Lahore: Pakistan Army women team won eight medals and bagged the title of 7th National Women Senior Judo Championship here at Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Saturday.
Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar graced the occasion as chief guest. He gave away medals and prizes to prominent position holders of the championship which was staged under the banner of Sports Board Punjab (SBP).
Wapda women team remained runners up while HEC finished the event at third spot.
In all, the girls from Army clinched eight medals including four gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Wapda women team offered reasonable fight and managed to grab four gold, two silver and a bronze medal. HEC girls had to content with third position. They captured two silver and one bronze medals in the championship.
