Lahore: Syed Makhdoom Ali Raza, Member Provincial Assembly of Pakistan Muslim League-N. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Syed Makhdoom Ali Raza.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister lauded the political services of Syed Makhdoom Ali Raza and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
Makhdoom Syed Ali Raza Shah son of Makhdoom Syed Nasir Hussain Shah was born on June 7, 1946. He was a member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1977. As Chariman, District Council, Faisalabad, he was a member of Provincial Council of the Punjab during 1980-83. He again served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90 (also functioned as Minister), 1990-93 and 1993-96. He has returned to the Assembly for the fourth term in general elections 2008. His son, Makhdoomzada Syed Hussain Raza Shah also remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 2002-07.
He was the member of 16th Assembly whose time frame is from the year 2013 till his death. He belonged to constituency PP-89 (Toba Tek Singh-VI). He was a member of Local Government and Rural Development. He has been associated with Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and has been a loyal member of party for years under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Shareef.
Makhdoom Syed Ali Raza Shah was an experienced politician whose opinions were held in high regard and implemented.
