A young man rescued from debris after 50 hours

Lahore: Today was a reward giving day for Rescue 1122, as all the Rescue Teams of Punjab Emergency Service recovered an alive victim Shahid, 18, of Khanewal after 50 hours from the debris of Industrial Estate Building Collapsed Structure.

The boy was earlier declared dead by the authorities and a body was also handed over to his family by saying that it was the body of Shahid. The family of Shahid had mourned his death and buried the body in a local graveyard of Khanewal.Now when they came to know that Shahid was still alive and being treated at Jinnah Hospital ,they could not stop tears but this time the tears were expressing their happiness.

All the stakeholders including Pakistan Army, District Coordination Lahore Capt. Muhammad Usman appreciated the efforts of Rescue 1122.
