Lahore: In connection with Punjab University Institute of Communication Studies International Conference a Sufi Musical night on theme of “International peace and harmony” was held at at Avari hotel. PU vice chancellor Dr. Mujahid Kamran, researchers from America, Europe, Brazil, Africa, ICS teachers and students attended the event.
Students performed a mayhem on the subjects of “Universal Peace and Religious Harmony” winning big applaud from the foreign delegates.
Kalam of Buleh Shah and other sufi saint was also presented. Internationally famous “Marfat Sufi Band” entertained the audience with their melodious voice. ICS students Ali Hassan Sonu and Saim entertained audience through their magical performances. Guest and students enjoyed the musical night. Guests in the hall liked the plays that were performed by students. On the end of three day conference on the topic of “Freedom of Expression and Glocal Politics of Emotions organized by Institute of Communication Studies foreign professors enjoyed the Sufi Musical night and said that “with the education and research Pakistani are open hearted also”. At the end of event Punjab University vice Chancellor Dr. Mujahid Kamran presented the flowers bouquets to the guests and make groups photo with them.
