Rescue 1122 evacuates 101 alive victims safely from the debris

Lahore: Rescue 1122 has evacuated overall 101 alive victims safely from the Sundar Industrial Estate Incident, whereas the death of 21 has been confirmed yet.

Today, under leadership of Brig, Dr. Arshad Zia, Urban Search and Rescue Teams of 08 Districts including Lahore; Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Nankana Saheb, Kasur, Okara, Multan and Faisalabad launched search and rescue operations and after having no sign of live victims, Rescue 1122 launched a full-scale operation, involving heavy machinery including Gas-Cutters, Cutters, Scanning Machines, Rotary Saws, Chipping Hammers, and all other cutting tools.

In first phase, Rescue 1122 is cutting slabs from front side of the Collapsed Structure in order to pave ways for searching possible victims. After the area is cleared from front side, we would be launching debris removing operation in rear side.

Brig, Dr. Arshad Zia thanked to media friends, who not only reported with pure professionalism but also  encouraged the working departments. Today, Rescuers even acknowledge the media reporting, which boasted their morale.
