Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that leveling allegations and telling lie is part of PTI manifesto. He said that Punjab government has imposed complete ban on displaying and carrying of all kind of arms on October 30, 31 and November 1 under section 144 in 12 districts of the province for peaceful conduct of local bodies’ elections. Violators would be arrested and FIRs registered against them in the concerned police stations, he added.
He was talking to media outside the office of Provincial Election Commission, here today. Rana Sanaullah said that during recent elections, instructions have been issued to all administrative machinery of the province to deal the elements taking law into their hand with an iron hand. He said that Members National and Provincial Assembly as well as Ministers will not be allowed to take armed men with them during these three days. However, only government security will be provided to those persons who need security. He said that rangers and army have been called on the direction of Election Commission. He said government desires to depute army and rangers at polling stations so that they could be immediately available in case of law and order situation.
Rana Sanaullah said he is proud that he got arrested the murderer of Bhola Gujjar and no one can stop him pursuing this case. He said that PML-N will win local bodies’ elections with two third majority in Faisalabad on October 31.
