Pervaiz Rashid,Ch Brothers,Shahbaz Sharif greets president elect SCBA Ali Zafar

Lahore: Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Thursday congratulated newly elected president of Supreme Court Bar Association, Syed Ali Zafar.

In a statement the minister hoped that Ali Zafar would not only  work for the welfare and betterment of the lawyers community but  would also play his role in upholding the supremacy of the  law and Constitution.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have heartily felicitated party’s central leader S. M. Zafar’s son S. Ali Zafar on his success in the election of the of Supreme Court Bar Association.
S. M. Zafar and his son S. Ali Zafar expressed their gratitude to Ch Shujat Hussain who had reached S. M. Zafar’s residence to felicitate his son S. Ali Zafar.
PML leaders have also heartily congratulated Asma Jahangir on the success of their presidential candidate in the election. They have also thanked the lawyers affiliated with the party on the success of the PML backed candidates and appreciated their efforts.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated newly elected President Ali Zafar and other office-bearers on their success in annual election of Supreme Court Bar Association.

He expressed the hope that newly elected leadership will come up to the confidence reposed by lawyers’ community. In his felicitation message to the newly elected President Supreme Court Bar Association Ali Zafar and other office-bearers, Shahbaz Sharif said that lawyers’ community has played historic role in the stability of democratic system,restoration of independent judiciary and promotion of democratic norms in the country and it has to continue its effective role in the provision of justice to the people as well.

The Chief Minister expressed the hope that newly elected leadership of lawyers’ community
will utilize all its energies for the welfare of lawyers, resolution of their problems and betterment of bar.
