Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed Provincial Cabinet Committee on Dengue Eradication that like other cities, effective measures against dengue should also be continued in Rawalpindi and Multan and special attention should be paid to indoor surveillance. He said that the strategy evolved for controlling dengue should be implemented in letter and spirit and regular monitoring anti-dengue measures should be ensured.
The Chief Minister directed that full attention should be paid to the look after of dengue patients under-treatment in hospitals and all out treatment facilities should be provided to them. He said that efforts should be made against dengue with commitment and efficiency while indiscriminate action should be initiated against those not implementing anti-dengue plan.
