Muhammad Akram submits resign in reply of showcause

Lahore: Head Coach of National Cricket Academy Muhammad Akram has resigned in reply of showcause notice that was given him for doing commentary on a sports channel during Pak-England series 3 months before his contract matured.

PCB has sought explanation for doing commentary and issued him a shocause notice but rather to explain, he resigned the job,Pakistani News Channels claimed.

Muhammad Akram in his resign said that due to personnel reasons he could not carry out his job.My family resides in England and I want to give time to them,he explained in the resignation.

Muhammad Akram had played 9 test matches and 23 ODIs for Pakistan.
