General (R) Zia ud Din Khawaja chairs a meeting of Board of Management LGH

Lahore: A meeting of Board of Management, Post Graduate Medical Institute, under the Chairmanship of General Retd. Zia ud Din Khawaja, held here in the committee room of Lahore General Hospital today, which was attended by members of the board, Principal Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Prof. Furrakh Zaman and MS LGH Cap. Retd. Dr. Niaz Ahmed.

The meeting gave the approval of entitlement of Professor of Emirates for Professor of Surgery Dr. Anwar ul Haq in recognition of his valuable services.

Participants of the meeting also appreciated the services of former Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra and recommended his name for the membership of Board of Management of PGMI.

General Retd. Zia ud Din Khawaja, the Chairman of BoM said on this occasion that Principal PGMI has rendered great contribution towards swift and in- time completion of various projects at LGH to cater the needs of patients and staff. He said that revolutionary steps are being taken in order to ensure affective health care system and provision of medical facilities at LGH.

Especially Prof. Khalid Mahmood has done tremendously for transparent use of funds spent on Punjab Institute of Nuero Sciences at LGH, he added.
