Lahore: Editor Reporting Daily Times Hassnain Qureshi’s mother has passed away. Inna Lilahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune.Her funeral prayer was offered at Ik Pir Mosque Garhi Shahu near Railway Stadium here on Friday morning.
A large number of people from all walks of life including the journalists participated in the funeral and burial in Jaan Muhammad Hazoori graveyard, Garhi Shahu. They also prayed for the rest of the departed soul.
Daily Times staffers and journalists community of the city have expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow on the sad demise of the mother of their senior colleague and prayed to the Almighty Allah to increase her ranks in Jannah and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, in a condolence message , also expressed his grief and sorrow.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
