Lahore: A spokesman of Health Department has said that in order to enhance the dialysis facilities to the patients of renal failure, 25 new dialysis machines have been installed in the District Headquarters Hospital Faisalabad out of which, 8 machines have started functioning whereas 17 dialysis machines would be functional within two weeks.
The spokesman further said that Medical Superintendent DHQ Hospital Faisalabad Dr. Abdul Rauf was supervising the expansion project of dialysis unit. Dr. Abdul Rauf told that 6 dialysis machines are already providing dialysis facility to the patients and now 8 new machines have started functioning due to which total number of functional dialysis machines have become 14.
He told that 17 new machines have also been installed which would start functioning within two weeks and after that the total number of dialysis machines would reach at 31 and the dialysis facilities would be doubled and better medical facilities will be provided to the kidney patients.
