PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran condemns dacoity incident

Lahore: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has strongly condemned the incident of burglary into the house of former head of PU Department of English Language and Literature in which dacoits have also brutally tortured him with iron rods.

In a press statement, Dr Mujahid Kamran said that there were a very few people in Pakistan who have earned their PhD degrees in English language and literature and Dr Nasim Riaz Butt was an asset for the country. He called upon the government and top cops to take serious notice of the incident and arrest the culprits involved as soon as possible.
