Death ratio in road accidents is more than the deaths caused by terrorism :SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi

Lahore: Over 1.3 Million people in the world and about 13000 people die in road accidents and this ratio is more than the deaths caused by terrorism and other natural disasters said Acting Zonal Commander SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi while awarding certificates to the 3rd Batch of 30 female trainees of Road Safety Training Institute at Babu Sabu, Lahore.SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi

SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi said that the basic purpose of Road Safety Training Institutes (Driving Schools) is to provide opportunity to the people to learn driving as per international standards of road safety. SSP further said that the passed out trainees of these Road Safety Training Institutes will help a lot in bringing discipline on highways and reduction of road crashes because of their peculiar knowledge about traffic rules and road safety.

SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi advised the trainees that they should share what they had learned during their training with their friends and relatives and the message of road safety should reach to everyone. SSP told that during the training the trainees were taught about road safety measures, traffic rules and regulation and information about the vehicle beside practical driving skills so that a civilized driving culture be promoted.  He also appreciated the professional skills of Incharge RSTI SPO Muqeed Raza Dogar while enhancing the quality of road safety training. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were also distributed among the pass out trainees.
