Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in a high level reviewed the performance of district governments regarding health sector reforms roadmap and achieving fixed targets. He showed indignation to DCOs and district health teams displaying unsatisfactory performance. Action was taken against four EDOs Health and suspended on displaying poor performance.
The Chief Minister directed all the commissioners and DCOs to visit hospitals and health centers to review the situation and ordered to improve situation by utilizing the existing resources. He said that negligence or laxity on the part of any officer regarding administrative affairs of health department and provision of better facilities to the people will not be tolerated.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will pay surprise visit to any hospital and review the situation.
