Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that conscious people of Lahore have made successful politics of decency, tolerance and public service in bye election of NA-122. He said that those doing negative and allegations’ politics have been defeated. He said that those raising hue and cry of so-called rigging have seen the result of their negative politics.
He expressed these views while addressing provincial ministers, members national and provincial assembly, PML-N office-bearers and workers, here today.
He said that the success of PML-N in bye election of NA-122 is the victory of politics of public service and after the result of bye election, the politics of allegations so-called rigging in general elections has been buried.
The Chief Minister said that a huge loss had been caused to the country in the garb of sit-ins last year. He said that those doing politics of sit-ins neither realized the problems of common man nor the interest of country. He said that 18 crore people have fully realized who is serving them selflessly and who is doing negative politics. He said that service to the masses is the mission of PML-N. He said that PML-N government has been serving the people sincerely during last seven year and will set new records of public service during next two and half years.
The Chief Minister congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, party leadership, workers and members of organizing committee on the success of PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in bye election of NA-122 and added that by the grace of Almighty Allah and public support, PML-N has won bye election of NA-122 which is prove of the fact that people of Pakistan greatly love dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N government has introduced new culture of high quality and transparency in development projects during last seven years. He said that all development projects are being completed with high quality and transparency. He vowed that corruption, nepotism and Safarish was neither tolerated earlier nor will be tolerated in future. He said that the mandate given by the people in general elections 2013 was honoured earlier and will also be honoured in future. He said that the agenda of public welfare will be implemented more vigorously than earlier.
The Chief Minister asked Provincial Ministers, Assembly Members, party leaders and office-bearers to spare no effort in resolving problems of the people. He said that they should start service to the people with hard work, trust and honesty and serve the humanity round the clock. He said that we all have to discharge our responsibility efficiently for helping the oppressed. He said that party workers are our precious asset and their respect is duty of us all.
Addressing on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz MNA said that good intention has won in NA-122 due to the support of the masses and blessings of Almighty Allah. He said that the slogan of so-called rigging has been buried in bye election of NA-122. He said that all party leaders, office-bearers and workers worked very hard.
Provincial Minister Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Malik Nadeem Kamran, newly elect MNA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Kh. Ahmed Hasaan, MNAs Pervaiz Malik, Mehr Ishtiaq, Riaz Malik, Waseem Akhtar, Shehbaz Babar, Imran Ahmed Shah, Waheed Alam and other party leaders, office-bearers and workers were also present on the occasion.
Earlier; while talking to Assembly Members belonging to PML-N, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has played an effective role for the stability of democracy, strength of democratic institutions and promotion of democratic traditions in the country. He said that serious efforts are being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for resolving energy crisis, solution of problems of people and elimination of poverty and unemployment.
Shahbaz Sharif said that work is in progress speedily on the construction of powerhouses and completion of energy projects will result in removing darkness from the country. He said that due to solid economic policies of PML-N government, economic situation and economic indicators have improved. He said that PML-N in the light of its manifesto is speedily implementing its agenda of public service and billions of rupees are being spent on infrastructure development and provision of quality education and health facilities to the citizens. Those who met the Chief Minister included MNA Abbas Afridi, Nadeem Abbas Rabera and Provincial Minister Auqaf Syed Haroon Sultan Bukhari. Manshaullah Butt MPA was also present on the occasion.
