Punjab swimming team departs for National Junior Age Group Swimming Championship

Lahore: Punjab swimming team will participate in the 20^th National Junior Age Group Swimming Championship scheduled to be held at Qayyum Sports Complex Swimming Pool, Peshawar from October 16 to 18 2015.

Director Sports SBP Hafeez Bhatti and Punjab Swimming Association Secretary Azam Latif Qureshi saw off the young swimmers at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday for junior swimming event.

Punjab swimmers will feature in three age group categories – Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16. Atif Shafiq Bhatti will look after the swimmers as manager while Aurangzeb and Rafi-uz-Zaman will perform the coaching duties in the championship.

Following are the members of Punjab swimming team:

Under-12: Mustafa Ibrahim, Shamir Aziz, Abdullah Ishfaq, M Hassaan, Zain Younis and Mohsin.

Under-14: Reebal Ishfaq, Azlan Khan, Taimur Shehzad, Ali Raza and Sufyan.

Under-16: M Hamza Malik, Hamza Attaullah, Abdul Rafay Sohail, M Rizwan, M Shafay Sohail and Iftikhar Mohammad.
