Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal): Father died of shock on seeing place where his son was murdered. According to details Raza Arshad, a 10 years old student was abducted in Roshan Mohalla by some unknown culprits who threw his dead body in central graveyard after committing sodomy and slaughtering him with some sharp edged weapon.

Spotting the dead body, the residents informed the police. Police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to DHQ Hospital where autopsy was conducted. According to medical legal report the boy was killed with sharp edged weapon after sodomy.

City police registered FIR on the statement of maternal uncle of the victim Mirza Ali. Mirza Arshad, father of the student was in Saudi Arabia who on listening about the incident arrived the other day. He with other co-residents went to grave yard and as soon as he saw the incident site he fainted and died on the spot. Meanwhile mother of the student also suffered shock and moved to DHQ Hospital where she is under treatment. Moved by the severity and brutality of the incident most of the shopkeepers of the city observed strike and protested against incompetence of the police for its failure to trace out the bandits involved in murder of the student.

Relatives of the murdered and molested student also staged a protest against the non-arrest of culprits. The bereaved family blocked the Sargodha railway line, disrupting trains schedule and demanded early arrest of the murderers.

Post Graduate College students also protested against the brutal murder of their fellow mate and blocked the traffic at College Chowk. Police cordoned off the entire area and baton charged to disperse the protesters.

Meanwhile;Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of abuse and murder of a 9-year old boy in Mandi Bahauddin and sought a report from DPO Mandi Bahauddin. He directed to provide immediate justice to the aggrieved family.

The Chief Minister also issued instructions for inquiry into the incident of baton charge on protesters in the wake of the incident. He has also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, police has arrested the accused Rizwan involved in the abuse and murder of the boy. It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister had ordered immediate arrest of the culprit.
