The 1st Semi Final was a thrilling match between reigning champion Omar Abdel Meguid and Karim Al Fathi. Karim dominated in the first game and easily won it with a game score of 11/6. Omar came back in the next game and won it with the game score 14/12. It was smooth sailing for the reigning champion in the third game in which he outclassed his opponent with the game score 11/3. Omar booked his place in the final of the coveted trophy by wining the fourth game with the game score of 11/9. The match lasted for 80 minutes. Air Marshal Rashid Kamal, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Personnel) was the chief guest of the match. Squash legends Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan also witnessed the match.

The 2nd Semi Final was played between Nasir Iqbal and Mohamed Abouelghar. The Egyptian won the first game with the score 11/8. Nasir came back in the second game and easily won the game 11/2. The third game was won by Mohamed Abouelghar with the score 11/8. In the fourth game Nasir dominated his opponent from the start but could not materialize his gains. The fourth game was also clinched by the Egyptian winning him the match with the score 14/12. The match lasted for 48 minutes. Air Marshal Muhammad Ishfaque Arain, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Administration) was the Chief Guest at the occasion.
