PTI could not gather even ten thousand persons from Lahore and adjacent districts : Spokesman Punjab Govt

Lahore: Spokesman Punjab government Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri while commenting upon the speech of Imran Khan in Lahore said that Imran Khan and his party could not gather even ten thousand persons from Lahore and adjacent districts Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Okara and Nankana.

He said that Lahore is the city of supporters of Nawaz Sharif. He said that population of Lahore is more than one crore and all living here are Nawaz Sharif’s supporters.

Talking to the journalists in a press conference, Zaeem Qadri said that Imran Khan used to taunt his office-bearers on failure of public meeting but it was not their fault but of Imran Khan. He said that people of Pakistan like motivation of civilized politics in the country and they have already rejected the politics of lie and allegations.

He said today’s public meeting proves the extent of popularity of N-League among the people. He said that the most amazing thing in the public meeting of Imran Khan was the allegations of dishonesty leveled by Aleem Khan and Jahangir Tareen against the people. He said that qabza mafia and those getting their loans waved off have become the leaders of PTI.

He further said Imran Khan had promised that he will not talk about any new thing in the public meeting but media and people of Pakistan are witness to the fact that there was nothing new except repetition of false allegations. He said that Imran Khan should first reply to the questions raised by his party workers. He said the nation wants to know who used funds of crores of rupees of Shaukat Khanum in the personal business.

Zaeem Qadri further said it does not behoove Imran Khan to talk about the miseries of farmers as he has stopped Farmers Package through Election Commission. He said that Imran Khan should answer who will benefit from this package now as its fruits were for poor farmers who will not now benefit.

Will now Imran Khan provide assistance to the farmers from the donations collected from abroad, he questioned. He said that Imran Khan should reply why the code of conduct was violated by spending five crore rupees in the public meeting. He said that if Imran Khan still not awake then people will awake him on October 11.
