LGH cancels all the interviews conducted for various posts

Lahore: On report of Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameer ud Din Medical College Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Chairman Board of Management Gen. Retd. Zia Uddin Khawaja has cancelled all the interviews conducted for various posts of General Hospital in violation of rules and regulations and government policy. Chairman BoM  has directed to re-advertise the posts and  complete the recruitment process through NTS.

According to details, Principal Khalid Mahmood and MS LGH Captain Retd. Dr. Niaz Ahmed decided to scrutinize all the record regarding recruitments and other matters soon after taking over charge of their posts in July this year. It was disclosed that a number of irregularities have been committed during the process of interviews for the posts in Lahore General Hospital. Hospital administration informed BoM about this sort of affairs, on which, Chairman declared all the interviews as cancelled. Talking to the media, Prof. Khalid Mahmood said that transparency, merit and discipline would prevail in all the matters of Lahore General Hospital at every cost and no pressure, nepotism or influence would be tolerated in this regard.
