Foreign forces are responsible for Muslim Ummah’s internal conflicts :Sirajul Haq

Pic ji shooraLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the Muslim Ummah was facing internal conflicts and differences because of the conspiracies of world colonialism.

He has termed the tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran as destructive for the Muslim world and said that the Muslim world was being split into Shias and Sunnis. He was addressing a huge Friday congregation at the Mansoora mosque.

Sirajul Haq urged the Muslim states not to fight among themselves but to fight for the liberation of Palestine and Kashmir and against poverty, ignorance and unemployment. He said if Turkey and Pakistan joined hands, they could help resolve the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Sirajul Haq said if the government stepped forward for the solution of the problems of the Ummah, the JI would not feel shy of praising it or extending its cooperation to the rulers.

The JI chief said the bold stance taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief Gen. Raheel Sharif on the Kashmir issue had given a new hope to the nation. He said if the Prime Minister was successful in bringing Dr Aafia Siddiqui with him on return from US, the nation would be highly indebted to him. He further said that the Prime Minister should have addressed the UN General Assembly in his national language like the other heads of state as this would have raised the image of the country and the nation.

Sirajul Haq counseled the PML(N) and the PTI not to make the bye elections a matter of ego. He said that the number of banners put up both sides in the constituency indicated that the two sides had crossed the ceiling of the permissible expenditure.

The JI chief reiterated that the JI wanted Islamic democracy in the country which would help solve all social, political and economic problems being faced by the masses. He said that the solution of all our problems lay in the enforcement of the Shariah.

To a question regarding the by-election in NA 122, he said the leadership of the PTI and the PML(N) had approached the JI and it had authorized its local unit to decide the issue on its own. He however said that a by election could not be given importance like the general elections.
