Lahore: Senator Mushahid Hussain, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Chairman, Senate Defence Committee left for London to attend two important meetings there. During his 3-day stay, he will first be speaking at the Pakistan Security Conference 2015, which is organized by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), the oldest and top British think tank working since 1831, and this conference will also be addressed by leading policy analysts, scholars and senior military officers. Then, Senator Mushahid Hussain has also been invited to the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), the leading organization in the UK on the Islamic world, where he will be hosted by its Director, Dr. Farhan Nizami. The focus of his discussions at the OCIS would be on Pakistan’s role with reference to issues in the Muslim world, like Kashmir, Palestine, Islamophobia and Muslim refugees in Europe.
