Lahore: The ruling party PML-N has expressed gratitude to the almighty Allah soon after the stay order given by the supreme court on the appeal of deposed MNA Siddique Khan Baloch .
The apex court provided face saving to PML-N as the political situation in Lodhran was not favouring them. First time majority of the former parliamentarians from Lodhran staged protest against the decision of the leadership of giving party ticket to the young Umair Baloch who was called from London only to contest in the elections.
The CM Punjab himself tried to settle the differences among the party leaders but could not get desired results.
Five former MNAs and MPAs of PML-N support for the PTI secretary General Jahangir Khan Tareen declared the results even before the election in NA-154 that apparently gone against the ruling party.PML-N leadership though manage to induct a veteran Jiala and former federal minister Mirza Nasir Baig into the party but this decision was not also welcomed by the party workers.
In these circumstances,Supreme Court of Pakistan accepted the appeal of the disqualified PML-N MNA Siddique Khan Baloch and suspended the election process by restoring him as a MNA.
