Kh Salman announces to forgive the Drs who pelted eggs upon him at SZH

Lahore: Provincial Advisor Health Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that the incident happened in Sheikh Zayed Hospital was an action of a few ignorant people and he pardons them in the name of Almighty Allah.

Addressing an emergent press conference at DGPR Office, Khawaja Salman Rafique said that Sheikh Zayed Hospital incident was related to his person and he ignored it, however, if such incident happened with the teachers, those destroying the discipline of the institution and in respect of the teachers will not be spared. He said that there are protests in democracy but these should be in a civilized manner. He said that neither he was besieged nor did he hide as this is not the tradition of his family.

Kh. Salman Rafique said that after this incident, he called representatives of paramedics association and held negotiations with them for an hour. He said that we are working round the clock for the uplift of Health Department and genuine demands of paramedics will be fulfilled.

Kh. Salman Rafique said that some ignorant people blemished the historic success of 50 liver transplants and more than 500 kidney transplantation carried out in Sheikh Zayed Hospital. He said that hospitals are not being privatized in 10 districts and only management is being contracting out. He said that all steps are aimed at ensuring provision of best treatment facilities to the common man.
