The Hall of Fame Pakistan is a permanent platform to recognise the Legends, Icons & Heroes of our country. This initiative has been taken for the first time in Pakistan’s history to acknowledge the hard work, perseverance, sacrifices and contributions of all the unsung heroes who have worked tirelessly for the progress of our society and country as a whole. Our history is incomplete if we do not mention their names and fail in paying a rich tribute to them.

Pakistan has produced some of the greatest minds in the world. These unsung Legends, Icons and Heroes deserve the recognition and pride of our nation. Only those nations live and excel in this world, which pay homage and tribute to their Heroes, Icons and Legends and learn to make them immortal. Unfortunately, for the last 68 years since independence, on the road to future, the people of our dear homeland seem to have forgotten the heroes who lived to earn pride for Pakistan.

Realising the dire need for this homage, the Hall of Fame Pakistan Book (Phase 1) has been compiled meticulously by the devoted and committed members of the Core Committee, Advisory Board, Board of Directors and Executive Steering Committees who gave advice and direction throughout this endeavour. These active and motivated committees, comprising over 106 most prominent professionals of Pakistan from various walks of life, helped accomplish this mega project in the shortest possible time. They participated in the nomination, selection and final compilation process, which spanned over two years. From the data of over 5000 people, they unanimously selected over 500 Legends, Icons & Heroes to be included in this prestigious book of national pride. All entries in this first book are strictly merit-based.

Founder Chairman Masood Ali Khan said, “In order to make Hall of Fame Pakistan transparent, authentic and credible, an Induction Criteria has been developed based on International standards of Hall of Fame of the world. We started contacting the most respected and diversified professionals in their field of expertise based on eight categories. Thus, entries in the Hall of Fame Book (Phase I) are divided into eight categories: Pre-Independence Phase (1906-1947); Literature; Fine Arts; Media, Performing Arts & Entertainment; Science & Technology; Sports; Philanthropy & Social Entrepreneurs; Young Heroes.”

Founding Father of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mother of Nation Fatima Jinnah, Dr. Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Aga Khan III Sir Sultan Mahomed Shah, Hameed Nizami, Jogendranath Mandal, Mehdi Hassan, Ismail Gulgee, Prof.Abdul Rahim Nagori, Madam Noor Jahan, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Imran Khan, Air Marshal Nur Khan, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Prof.Dr. Adib Rizvi, Hugh Catchpole and Malala Yousafzai are some of the great names included in this book.
