Ombudswoman sentenced the In-charge of an industrial home Sanatzar Attock

Lahore: Ombudswoman Punjab Mrs. Farkhanda Waseem Afzal decided another complaint of sexual harassment and sentenced to the In-charge of an industrial home Sanatzar Attock.

According to the details, Ombudswoman heard in detail the complaint of a craft supervisor of an industrial home Sanatzar of district Attock. After hearing stance of both the parties and the complaint being proved correct, announced stoppage of annual increments of two years of Manager Muhammad Nawaz Warraich which will be implemented immediately.

The complainant lady instead of inquiry committee of her department directly lodged a complaint to Ombudswoman under Harassment Act 2010 and leveled various allegations. She alleged that Muhammad Nawaz spreads scandals against her, does character assassination and creates harassment. Ombudswoman Punjab after hearing the view point of both the parties and their witnesses awarded sentence to the accused under Harassment Act.
