Nandipur power project is a symbol of former government’s inability: Spokesman Punjab Government

Lahore: Spokesman Punjab Government MPA Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that Nandipur power project became a symbol of former government’s inability, corruption and anti-state policy.

He said that to start Nandipur power project was the responsibility of the previous government in which it failed badly. He said that present government made this project, socked with corruption and poor planning, useable through its constructive approach. He said that more commission than the total cost of the project was demanded on Nandipur power project during the tenure of PPP.

He said that the Ministers of the Sindh government criticizing the present government should first look at the performance of their government. He said that no province except Punjab has become able to add even a single watt of electricity into national grid so far.

Zaeem Qadri further said that present government awarded contracts to all companies as per law and no one can prove corruption of even a single penny. He said that PML-N government is capable to change the darkness into light due to its successful planning.
