Leagues leaders meet to form a united Muslim League

Sardar Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan Khosa,Ghuas Ali ShahLahore: The different factions of Leagues met today at former governor Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa’s residence for unification and forming one united Muslim League.The dissident leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), like-minded group, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Muslim Conference Azad Kashmir and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gathered on Saturday and talked for hours to form a united Muslim League. The constitution and policies of the new party will be announced soon.

Talking to the media afterwards, Syed Ghaus Ali Shah said Pakistan’s ‘pure’ party was divided into pieces and that they are able to bring it together once again.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said ‘Muslim League’ is the only party that can steer Pakistan towards progress.We were working on this issue for nine months and soon the nation will here a good news in this regard.

APML’s Dr Amjad said it was Pervez Musharraf’s wish to unite the League, adding that the wish has been fulfilled today.
