Bilal yasin distributes medals among the position holders of Intermediate

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin presided over certificates and medals distribution ceremony held at Alhamra Hall No.2 for the position holders of Intermediate Science and Arts groups of Lahore Board. Chairman Lahore Board Nasrullah Virk, other senior officers, college teachers of position holders and a large number of parents of male and female students were present on the occasion.

Bilal Yasin gave away gold medals and certificates to Muhammad Umar and Shayan Zahid getting first position in intermediate. He also gave away gold medal and certificate to Faisal Masood obtaining first position in pre-medical. Similarly, medals and certificates were distributed among male and female students getting second and third positions in intermediate arts and science groups of Lahore Board. Medals were also given to the teachers of position holders of concerned colleges.

Addressing the function, Bilal Yasin said that government has allocated huge funds in education sector so that educational facilities could be provided to young generation. He said that according to the vision of Chief Minister, foreign study tours of prestigious universities are arranged for position holder male and female students every year so that our young generation could compete with the educated nations and make progress in science discipline.

The Provincial Minister said that government has also established endowment fund so that children of poor people could continue their education and play active role in practical life.
