Lahore: National Highways & n national highways near Kasowal and recovered 150 bundles of threads (Sooter) value more than Rs 06 Million.
The Motorway Police, Central Zone Patrolling Officers SPO Shoukat Javed and PO Ijaz Hussain while on patrolling observed lane violation of Mazda truck bearing registration No. LES -4148 on national highways. The Patrolling officers asked to stop him but the driver left the vehicles and ran away in nearby jungle after seeing the NH&MP patrolling officers. The truck was loaded with 150 bundles of threads (sooter) value more than Rs 06 Million.
The NH&MP officers promptly informed control who informed by district wireless control noted that same vehicle laden with threads has been snatched by unidentified armed men from Mian Channu Bypass, P/S city.
The snatched truck along with recovered threads handed over to local police for further investigation. The owner of the truck was also being informed by NH&MP. The Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig has appreciated bravery & excellent performance the efforts of patrol officers.
