Kazim Malik has personal grudge with the PML-N:Rana Sanaullah Khan

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that 16^th session of Punjab Assembly will be started from tomorrow (August 26, 2015).

He has been assigned the assembly business for Local Government and Home Departments during provincial assembly session being started from tomorrow.

Addressing the media , Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan  said that nine ordinances and four bills are ready for discussion which include Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ordinance, Local Government Amendment Ordinance, Punjab Local Government (second amendment) Ordinance, Punjab Drugs Amendment Ordinance, Punjab Food Authority Amendment Ordinance, Punjab Special Protection Unit Ordinance and Punjab Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority Amendment Ordinance.

Rana Sanaullah Khan told that Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Bill, Punjab Commission on Status of Women (amendment bill), University of Okara Bill and Punjab Maternity Benefits (amendment bill) will be presented during the session for discussion and approval.

He said that DPO Attock Nadeem Hussain was sentenced in the light of inquiry report,others officers would also be punished who were declared responsible of negligence in Attock blast case.He said Election tribunal judge Kazim Ali Malik has anger against the PML-N as the party had not awarded ticket to his son in the general elections 2013.The order of fresh elections in  NA-122 was a bad stain on the face of independent judiciary,Kazim malik must be guilty conscience that’s why he wrote 6 questions to himself in his judgment,Rana Sana added.

The provincial minister for law said that he had told to Ali Ayaz that he should transfer the case to any other judge as no matter how strong their case was, Kazim Malik will give his judgement against you.Rana Sanaullah said that the decision of Election Tribunal regarding NA-122 is prejudice. He said that law and the constitution provides right of appeal. He said that this decision is legally defective and in his opinion, is a stigma on the glorious traditions of judges and independent judiciary.

He also revealed that there was a security threat to Punjab Assembly so guest would not be  allowed during the session.

Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the work for elimination of terrorism has been carried out more in Punjab than other provinces since start of operation Zarb-e-Azb in the country. He said that geo tagging of 13787 seminaries has been carried out with regard to the students studying. He said that the number of students studying in seminaries of Punjab is about 24500. He said that data of the students studying in 532 seminaries has been checked. He said that 11 people of gray areas in the seminaries of South Punjab have been arrested and investigation is under process.

Rana Sanaullah said that after seminaries, government will clean sweep anti-state elements in universities and their hostels. He said that video cameras will be installed for vigilance in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Gujranwala under Safe City Project.

The Law Minister said that policy of Punjab government regarding terrorism is zero tolerance. He said that there is three tiers security of sensitive installations and important places in the province. He said that in the first tier is police, in the second rangers while in the third army is standing with law enforcement agencies.

Rana Sanaullah said that security threats should be discussed generally and not in a specific manner as it creates disappointment. He said that everyone who is supporting war against terrorism has threat alert. The Law Minister said that there is breakthrough in the investigation of Shuja Khanzada Shaheed incident and a wing of banned organization has committed this cowardly act which has been identified. However, every effort is being made to arrest the accused involved in this incident, he added

Rana Sanaullah Khan said that “Aitraaz Khan” has objection at everything and demands resignation. He said that Imran Khan is an expert in making non issues to issue. He said that “Aitraaz Khan” wants to create anarchy in the country. He said that local bodies elections are being held phase wise in Punjab and in the past, Imran Khan has supported it, therefore, he should not have any objection over it. The Law Minister said that the name of Imran Khan should be in the Guinness Book of World Record as a Minister during elections is arrested in KPK, his physical remand is taken but despite his arrest, he remains as Minister. He said that Imran Khan could not even take resignation from the Minister for two days. Rana Sanaullah said Imran Khan defended Gandapur that the crime could not be proved against the Minister. He questioned Imran Khan that the crime had not proved against Rana Sanaullah Khan but the home court of Imran Khan had spared no effort to prove him the accused.
