Punjab government holds Quran Khawani for the departed soul of Khaanzada

Lahore: On the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Quran Khawani was held and dua was offered for the departed soul of Col. Retd Shuja Khanzada Shaheed in all the departments throughout the province. Rich tributes were paid to the great sacrifice of Shuja Khanzada Shaheed for the country and the nation and prayers were offered for his departed soul at condolence functions held at divisional, district, Tehsil and town level.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the Quran Khawani and dua arranged for the departed souls of Provincial Home Minister Col. (Retd.) Shuja Khanzada Shaheed and other martyrs at Model Town, here today. Rich tributes were paid to the sacrifices of Col. (Retd.) Shuja Khanzada and other martyrs on this occasion. Paying homage to Col. (Retd.) Shuja Khanzada Shaheed, the Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that Col. (Retd.) Shuja Khanzada was a brave man who has sacrificed his life for the peace of the nation and the country. He said that though he is not in this world but he will always remain alive in our hearts. He said that the sacrifice of Col Shuja Khanzada will be remembered forever and the nation will remember the brave son of the country forever.

Quran Khawani was held for the departed soul of Shuja Khanzada Shaheed at Jamia mosque of GOR-1 in which Additional Chief Secretary Syed Mubashir Raza, Secretary Services Dr. Ejaz Munir, Secretary I&C Javed Akbar, Additional Secretary CS office Masood Mukhtar and other officers participated. Quran Khawani was also held at Town Hall Lahore by the district administration for the departed souls of Shuja Khanzada Shaheed and other martyrs of Attock tragedy which was participated by MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sohail Shaukat Butt, DCO Lahore Muhammad Usman, other officers and officials.

Khawaja Imran Nazir said that Shuja Khanzada Shaheed was a brave man and his services for the elimination of terrorism will be remembered forever. Quran Khawani was also held at the mosque of Commissioner of Lahore Division office in which Commissioner Lahore Abdullah Khan Sumbal, Additional Commissioner and other officers participated.

Similarly, Quran Khawani was held at Ravi Town and Samanabad Town and dua was offered for the departed souls of martyrs of Attock tragedy. Quran Khawani was held at Pothohar Town Hall in Cantt and Markazi Jamia Masjid Rawalpindi for the departed souls of Attock incident.

MPA Begum Zaib un Nisa Awan, DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dar and a large number of people attended the function at Pothohar Town Hall whereas MPA Begum Tehseen Fawad, Lubna Rehan, Zaib un Nisa Awan, ADCG Arif Rahim, AC City Qurat ul Ain, officers of administrations, office bearers of trader organizations and the citizens attended the function at Markazi Jamia Masjid Rawalpindi.

Condolence meetings were held at divisional and district offices of Gujranwala division and prayers were offered for the departed souls. Condolence meetings were also held at the offices of  Commissioner Gujranwala Shumail Khawaja and DCO Rafaqat Ali.

DCO Multan Zahid Saleem Gondal and other district officers attended Quran Khawani at DCO Office Multan and dua was offered for the departed souls. Rich tributes were paid to the services of Shuja Khanzada Shaheed. Quran Khawani was held at Jinnah Hall Qila, Sialkot for the departed souls of Attock martyrs. Quran Khawani was held at all mosques of Bhakar in which special prayers were offered for the departed souls of Attock martyrs. DCO Mianwali, Talat Mehmood Gondal and other officers attended Quran Khawani held at Jamia Mosque DCO office complex.

Quran Khawani was also arranged at mosques and other offices of Mianwali city and dua was offered for the departed souls of Attock martyrs. Members National and Provincial Assembly, Government Officers, social and religious personalities attended Quran Khawani held at Faisalabad, Chak Jhumra, Samundari, Jaranwala and Tandlianwala and dua was offered for the departed souls of Attock martyrs.

Quran Khawani was held at Jamia Masjid Badar of district Court Sahiwal which was attended by DCO Asif Iqbal, senior officers and staff in which dua was offered for the departed souls of Attock martyrs.
