Lahore:Ombudsman Punjab Javed Mahmood, has taken notice of news item about non availability of medicines, doctors and paramedical staff at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hazro and directed Secretary Health Punjab to submit a detailed report on the issue. Injured in suicide attack on Punjab Home Minister could not get required medical treatment and had to be shifted to hospitals of other cities due to non availability of doctors, paramedical staff and essential medicines in emergency ward of THQ Hazro. Ombudsman Punjab Javed Mahmood has taken notice on media reports here today. According to media reports, required stretcher were not available when injured were brought in THQ Hazro. Furthermore paramedical staff was also not available to take the injured to emergency ward of THQ Hazro. Locals and media persons helped them out to take injured to emergency but due to non availability of medicines, doctors and paramedical staff, they were deprived of medical treatment and had to be shifted to the hospitals at Kamra Cantt, Wah Cantt, Attock and Rawalpindi.
