Earthquake jolted number of cities of KP and Punjab

Lahore:  An earthquake has jolted number of cities of Azad Kashmir,KP and Punjab including Muzaffarabad,Peshawar,Swat,DI Khan ,Kohat,Deer bala,Mansehra,Bisham,Abbotabad,Islamabad,Lahore,Multan.

Met office has said that the epicentre of the earthquake was near to the Afghan-Tajikistan border and its magnitude was recorded 6.4 on richter scale.DG Ghulam Rasool said that the centre of the earthquake was Afghanistan and was measured at a depth of 212 KM.

The quake spread panic among people and they rushed out of their homes,offices especially from roof tops. Jolts were felt up to 30 seconds after the quake.
