Lahore: A young Indian girl Geeta is looking for Bajrangi Bhai Jaan for going back to her homeland”India”. Geeta is currently residing in Edhi Homes ,Karachi. She was found by Punjab Rangers at Wagah Border some 16 years back at the age of 7 years. She is dumb and deaf that’s why She could not made hue & cry when she lost her parents lost while going back to India.
She was handed over to Edhi Foundation by the Rangers ,she spent a few time in Lahore and then sent to Karachi Edhi Centre. Balqees Edhi named her”Geeta”.
Ansar Burni briefed Sushmita Sewraj about Geeta on Twitter who directed ministry of interior to take prompt action in this regard and also replied Mr Burni too.
Though Geeta could not speak and listen but she is able to mark her residence,city and the state on map.Her story is quite similar to the recently released movie “Bajrangi Bhai Jaan” but she needs an original hero who could reunite her with her family.
