PTI to support August 1 and 5 country-wide strikes against the withholding tax

PTI Ch Sarwra Pic 29 JulyLahore: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has announced support for the traders’ organisations’ August 1 and 5 country-wide strikes against the withholding tax. He said the rulers were punishing masses for their failed policies. He said the withholding tax was government’s “drone attack” on national economy and the PTI would participate in traders’ country-wide protest.  He said the PTI was bringing in real change in the country and save people from the clutches of corrupt rulers and anti-people policies. He was talking to different delegations, who called on him at his office on Wednesday.

He said no country could progress without strengthening its economy but unfortunately rulers had themselves acting as anti-economy elements. He said the imposition of withholding could not be accepted and participate in the traders’ country-wide protest.

Chaudhary Sarwar demanded that the government should withdraw the newly imposed withholding tax. He said the incumbent rulers were squeezing poor masses, since they assumed power. He said poor masses were being punished due to the policies framed by the incompetent rulers. He said the masses had now no good expectations from the rulers, who were busy in their `juggleries’.

Chaudhary Sarwar said the PTI had the vision to resolve people’s problems and put country on the paty of progress and prosperity. He said the PTI would not disappoint masses after coming into power. He said the nation would be rescued from menaces like corruption, price-hike, joblessness and help youth and women to get their due rights. He said the PTI under the leadership of Imran Khan was fighting a war to oust corrupt rulers and drive country out of crises and it would be successful in its endeavours.
