Lahore: A high level Jamaat e Islami delegation headed by JIP chief Senator Sirajul Haq, had a detailed meeting with the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, in Islamabad on Friday.
The two sides discussed the Kashmir issue, the problems facing Overseas Pakistanis, the continued detention of Dr Aafia Siddiqui in the US besides the regional situation including Afghanistan. Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry was also present at the meeting.
The JIP chief was accompanied by JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, deputy Secretary General, Muhammad Asghar and JI foreign affairs chief Abdul Ghaffar Aziz.
