Lahore: Kabaddi World Cup 2015 will be played from November 16 to 28 in India. The matches of grand event will be staged in various Indian cities.
Kabaddi teams from over a dozen countries including Pakistan will feature in the mega tournament. Pakistan’s male and female kabaddi teams will represent the country against strong opponents of the world.
Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, in this regard, said that Sports Board Punjab will start the preparations for World Cup in near future. He directed the concerned officials to formulate strong teams for the mega event.
It may be mentioned here that Pakistan men’s kabaddi team grabbed silver medal while women team took bronze medal in the 2014 edition of Kabaddi World Cup also held in India.
