Secretary Livestock Naseem Sadiq orders inquiry on embezzlement at Shahpur Kanjra slaughter house

Lahore: According to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, a slaughter house was set up at Shahpur Kanjran through which best, quality and healthy meat is being provided to the people.

Secretary Livestock Naseem Sadiq and his team paid surprise visit to the slaughter house and action has been taken against the officials causing huge loss to the institution through embezzlement. The officials involved in irregularities were dismissed from service.

Secretary Livestock ordered departmental inquiry after taking the relevant record into possession and directed that inquiry should be completed at the earliest and report sent to him.
