DG Khan police arrest 3 terrorist involved in attacks at temples

Lahore: Dera Ghazi Khan police arrested three terrorist belonged to Alfarooq group,Ustad Aslam group and Punjabi Taliban that were involved in attacks at temples and the worship places of the minorities.Police have recovered a heavy contingent of the weapons and hate literatures from the custody of the arrested terrorist.Further investigation was underway.IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera has appreciated the DPO Mubashar Mekan and his team for timely action.

According to the DPO Mubashar Mekan,on 11th of July at around 4 AM ,4 people tried to entered into the worship place of the minorities situated in the vicinity of City Tonsa police .The attackers were intercepted by  the cop on duty Irshad and the volunteers .They tried to nab them but the accused shot the cop Irshad and fled with his gun.

On receiving the information,DPO along with the local police reached at the spot and later traced and arrested an accused Hanif with the help of CCTV footage within 72 hours.The accused Hanif belonged to Alfarooq group of Taliban who revealed that they had a plan to kill all the people gathered there for worship.

The law enforcing agencies later arrested two more terrorists on the tip of Hanif.
