Prof. Dr. Safdar Ali Malik donates Rs 1m for deserving students of GCU

Lahore: Eminent Radiologist and Old Ravian Prof. Dr. Safdar Ali Malik has donated Rs one million to the Government College University Lahore Endowment Fund Trust (GCU EFT) for deserving student.

Prof. Dr. Safdar Ali Malik handed over a cheaque of Rs one million to Vice Chancellor at a graceful ceremony at the Vice Chancellor’s office. GCU EFT Executive Committee Secretary Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt was also present.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman has expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Safdar Ali Malik and issued directions to initiate a perpetual scholarship would be initiated from the donation as per the donor’s desire and this scholarship would be given to a financially-challenged student every year on merit.
